Our starter set with the models Long and Hac
Long means Dragon in Vietnamese language. The dragon is certainly the most famous mythical creature in Asian culture. It stands for strength and especially in Vietnam for the desire for freedom and independence. Many famous places in Vietnam, such as Ha Long Bay (Bay of the Rising Dragon) are related to dragons.
Our chef’s knife is the workhorse in the kitchen cutlery arsenal. It can easily handle 80% to 90% of all cutting tasks. The curved blade and the wide heel area make it the perfect tool for chopping, slicing, and dicing even more solid meat or vegetables. A versatile chef’s knife, perfect for everyday dicing and chopping tasks.

Hac
The heron stands for stability and harmony. Figures of herons standing on turtles can often be seen in pagodas and temples. These sculptures symbolize the harmony between heaven and earth. The heron can also be found on the famous Dong Son drums.
This small paring knife is ideal for peeling and cutting fruit and vegetables, for garnishing and for other food preparation tasks. Despite the small size, harder foods such as potatoes can easily be processed with the knife.
